Drivers For Life Foundation

Drivers For Life Foundation (DFLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Safe &
Sane Driving on our roadways.  The mission and purposes of DFLF as stated in its Articles of Incorporation are:
To help educate and train the youthful drivers of America and to increase public awareness of the problems with respect to under trained and irresponsible drivers on our roadways.
Substantial emphasis is aimed at young drivers and first time teen licensees.
Main Objective
The main objective of Drivers For Life Foundation is to reduce the accident rates among our young drivers by providing subsidized affordable driver education services, educational videos, speakers, and support to youthful drivers and their families to include:

1. Increased awareness and safety on our roads.
2. Developing a long-term driver education & accident reduction plan that works.
3. Decreased highway fatalities amongst our teen drivers, youth and general population.
4. Reduce the enormous annual costs in lives and property damage resulting from auto accidents involving teen drivers.
5.  Direct parents and teens to certified high quality professional driver education schools that meet the DFLF seal of approval.
6. Subsidize and provide scholarships to teens that can not afford Driver Education schools in the private sector.

The magnitude of the task at hand will take dedicated effort by a wide variety of groups and individualsB  to accomplish these goals.  Drivers for Life Foundation  looks forward to working together with individuals, auto manufacturers, car dealers, insurers, financial institutions schools, government agencies and a myriad of other businesses which operate in a symbiotic relationship with one another within society to bring about Safe & Sane Driving habits on our roads.
Conclusion
The DFLF plan and objectives are a result of years of research and analysis of data developed by state and federal agencies.  The conclusion from the data gathered is that the size and growth of the youth segment of the driving population, their behavior trends, accident rates and, fatality rates, are projected to continue for the foreseeable future unless Safe & Sane Driving habits are instilled immediately.
